Today is the “Day Without Immigrants” nation-wide boycott, and the National General Strike is planned for tomorrow:
Alexandria Neason’s very good piece Is America Ready for a General Strike? looks at the history and possible future of American and not only strikes.
And here’s how Scots do it — resist Trump, that is:
Oh, and don’t forget if you’re in FL (and not only):
Love it.

Did you see see David Gergen’s (spelling?) take on it on CNN? Holy fuck. His first sentence was, “I saddens me to say this, but we have a president who’s lost total contact with reality.”

Have you seen his press conference from today? Insane.

I watched it live. I’m still looking for pieces of my jaw on the floor 🙂
The. Man. Has. Lost. It.
On CNN, Gergen (sp?), who’s served under four presidents, said something like “Not even under Nixon have I been so worried about the country as I am rioght now.”

And yet we are still not to talk about his character defect. Because ethics…

I didn’t click on it, but I saw a vid in my youtubby feed yesterday from CNN with the headline reading “Psychologist says Trump is mentally ill.”
Honestly, people have to seriously start questioning him now. Today was just so, so, so odd.

I saw that. Psychologists in mass should be shouting about the destructive personality of tRump. He’s NUTS.

And yet it is classic Trump. Nothing has changed except the scenery.

I’ll check that out. In 28 days, tRump has created more damage, more panic, and more scandals than Nixon did in 5 or 6 years. What’s worse to me are the spineless coward Republicans who are condoning this crap with their silence on it. What cowards. This is a ship that’s sinking fast and it’s bringing all of us, and I mean the whole world, down with it.

Nah, people will just stop listening to him. That 4-Star general who came out yesterday is, self-evidently, not in any mood to take crazy orders from a madman. It’ll be interesting to see what happens if something like that unfolds.

Gergen isn’t the only one! (GTW, that spelling is correct — just looked it up.)

I’m dumbfounded and speechless by that press conference. I can’t believe I’m seeing this.

That one’s awesome. It would be funny if it weren’t true.

The silver lining? Maybe his character problem is becoming obvious. Maybe.

I think what adds to all this is how poised and prepared our former POTUS was in front of the press and cameras. He made his share of mistakes like any president, but boy, did he come across as a professional when he came before the American people.
This guy? Truly. Someone needs to put him under lock and key.
